Frequently Asked Questions for Degree Programs

I earned a bachelor's degree and majored in liberal arts area (e.g. biology) as an undergraduate. Can I be certified in special education as part of the master’s degree in special education?

No. The master’s degree in special education is designed for teachers who are already certified in special and/or elementary education. However, we offer a Non-Degree Endorsement Program in Teacher of Students with Disabilities for those already certified as a teacher. Unfortunately, we do not have a master's degree that leads to initial certification in special education.
