John Adamus joined the Graduate School of Education faculty after thirty-eight years of service in the public schools of New Jersey. Thirty-three years of that service was as a central office administrator, twenty-one years as a superintendent of schools. His many years of administrative practice include activities in virtually all aspects of school administration including curriculum, personnel, supervision, student management, special education, professional development, finance, business management, community relations, negotiations, and facilities construction and management. Many of the projects he has implemented have been recognized at state and national levels.
As an experienced practitioner, Dr. Adamus concentrates on helping aspiring educational leaders improve their individual knowledge and skills as well as link educational research to field practice.
