Research interests:

I am interested in how people construct knowledge and develop reasoning strategies through problem-solving situations as well as the early acquisition of expertise, and the role of technology in the construction of knowledge and reasoning strategies. I study the role of technology to support knowledge construction and collaborative learning and problem-solving. My research  investigates scaffolded support for problem-based learning and complex systems understanding.
