Financial Aid
About Financial Aid

Rutgers' Graduate School of Education students finance their educational costs in several ways, including fellowships, assistantships and scholarships.

Graduate School of Education Programs

Scholarship and Fellowship programs: GSE has several scholarship and fellowship programs that are administered and awarded within the School. Brief descriptions of these programs can be found on this site under scholarships. These programs are competitive but qualified students are encouraged to apply. Awards typically range from $500 to $3,000 annually.

Graduate and Teaching Assistantships: Graduate students in assistantship positions have the opportunity of working with GSE faculty and staff in a variety of research and professional projects, teaching, or assisting in courses. Assistantships provide full tuition remission and an annual stipend. Please see your academic advisor or departmental office for information on assistantship opportunities.

Rutgers University

Program Awards: Ralph Johnson Bunche Distinguished Graduate Award, The Minority Academic Careers Program (for more information call 732-932-9197 and 732-932-7908) and the Bevier Fellowships for postqualifying students.
