Rutgers' Graduate School of Education students finance their educational costs in
several ways, including fellowships, assistantships and scholarships.
GSE has several scholarship
and fellowship programs that are administered and awarded within the School.
Brief descriptions
of these programs can be found on this site under scholarships. These programs
are competitive but qualified students are encouraged to apply. Awards typically
range from $500 to $3,000 annually.
Graduate
students in assistantship positions have the opportunity of working
with GSE faculty and staff in a
variety of research and professional projects, teaching, or assisting
in courses. Assistantships provide full tuition remission and an
annual stipend. Please see your academic advisor or departmental office for
information on assistantship opportunities.

GSE also endeavors to make students aware of other sources of financial
aid applicable to graduate students in education. Information on programs
is sent to academic departments and posted to the GSE student listserv as
