SAC’s “Work Hard and Play Harder!” Program

SAC owns athletic equipment for table tennis and volleyball. All GSE members are welcome to borrow our equipment for a quick game of table tennis in the Lecture Hall or a volleyball game on the lawn outside the GSE. And next time you pass through the GSE Lounge and hear ping pong noise, don’t be afraid to stop by, say hi, and challenge the winner!

Procedures for checking out equipment

1. Table Tennis

We have 4 paddles, a dozen balls, and a ping pong table (located in the GSE Lecture Hall).

• The paddles and balls can be checked out from the Computer Lab
  (Rm. 207) during regular business hours (9 am - 5 pm).
• To use the table, you first need to check with Kris Spaventa (sparenta@rci.rutgers.edu) whether the Lecture Hall is available on the day/time you intend to play. If it is, reserve it for the time interval you intend to use it.
• You are responsible for setting up the table (be careful not to damage the table and/or its cover), and then for folding the table back and leaving the Lecture Hall the way you found it. Email Iuliana at tenis@rci.rutgers.edu (a few days in advance of your event) if you need help setting up the table.
• Return paddles and balls to the Computer Lab.

2. Volleyball

Email Maria Rodriguez (maria.rodriguez@gse.rutgers.edu) to set up a time to meet and be given the volleyball net and ball. Return the equipment to Maria when you're done.  Enjoy!
