Dr. Librera, Presidential Research Professor of Education for the Rutgers University Graduate School of Education, has over 30 years of experience in school reform design, school leadership, policy design and implementation, training and evaluation.
He is the former New Jersey State Commissioner of Education, and has served as a Superintendent of Schools, Principal, and Teacher. He currently has assumed leadership of the Rutgers University Institute for Student Achievement which serves to improve the relationship and interaction between PreK-12 education and higher education.
